For a few nights now.
Exceptional poured with a single cube of ice. So much depth to the flavor, I haven’t been much for drinking for years now, but this has got me enjoying a sipper at night again:

I have’t bought liquor in a while because I tend to drink too much too quickly. I’ve actually cut back on my drinking quite a lot starting in June. It wasn’t really intentional, but I’m not displeased .

I pretty much quit completely about 5 years ago. I just started having a Bloody or something nice on the rocks occasionally in the last few months or so .
This bottle will probably last me 6 months or better at the rate I drink.

If I find myself by a duty-free when I’m traveling I always check if johnnie walker gold is on sale. I’ve gotten bottles for under 60$ before and it is amazingly smooth and delicious.
Haven’t tried double black yet. But I might have to when I finish what I’m working on now.

I’ve tried that one and I am just not a fan, it’s overly smokey for my taste, but then again I feel that way about most Joh nnie Walker scotches.
I bought a bottle of Monkey Shoulder the other night and for $30 I’m quite impressed. I’ve cut back on the drinking quite a bit in the last few years, but I still enjoy a sipper at night. I love beer but I really need to shed a few lbs and I think the beer is really hurting me, so I’m shifting back to scotch.

Never been a Johnny fan, I suppose I like my Irish stuff too much...or rum.
I am big into Teeling lately and trying to get a Green Dot bottle from Ireland as well.

I’ m not a fan of Johnnie Walker and for some reason I always thought it was American until I just then got curious as to why it has Her Majesty’s Royal Warrant on the bottle.
Turns out I was wrong and is Scottish and has b een enjoyed by the reigning monarch since 1934. With Johnnie Walker Red Label being the best selling Scotch world wide.

Monkey Shou lder is a good one. I’m not a connoisseur, but I do enjoy a good bourbon. And Monkey Shoulder is a good go-to for me.
I’ve never been one who can taste much flavor in a scotch when it’s served straight. I usually will have it on the rocks so it can be watered down a bit and the flavors can shine.

Same. I like half an ice cube in mine - it chills it just a bit and as it melts the flavor evolves. Anyone who disapproves can fight me.
Id had tried the Shoulder like 2 years ago and remember it being good. I decided to get myself a bottle the other night. It was on sale for $30, but I was also considering a Highland Park and Suntory Toki, both $40. My cheapness won out and I do not regret it.

I’ve been needing to go get some gin and rye
- maybe I’ll add this to the list.

I almost pulled the trigger on a bottle of Blue Label, but I couldn’t justify the $200 price tag.
I grabbed this instead and I’m happy I did. It’s very smooth with a very smoky flavor and smell that comes out when you put it over an ice cube.

I enjoy the smokiness and depth of the flavors in it. I generally enjoy Scotch and Bourbons, but usually I only go for higher end stuff. Wouldn’t say I’m a connoisseur, I just enjoy “good” booze when it comes to Whiskey.

I enjoy Irish whiskey on occasion, but scotch and bourbon are my go tos.
Bought this for a friend a while back: https://bushmills.com/whiskeys/21-year/
Still waiting until they get their new house built so we can crack into it, I’m expecting it to be gorgeous.

I’ve had Blue Label on a couple occasions. While it is very good, it is not good enough for the price point it’s at.
That being said, Gold Label, even at full price, is still the best JW IMO. It’s nearly as smooth as Blue Label for a fraction of the price.

Understandable. I’m just not a Johnnie Walker guy. My favorite scotch is Glen Li vets Nadurra, or at least it was until it shot up to $95/bottle. I generally go for MacAlla n or Glenm orangie. My last bottle, though, was Highland Park Viking Honour and I loved it.

Glen Livet is good stuff, that’s what one of my friend’s drink, I always enjoy one with him.
I’ll have to check out the Highland Park.
